Why I'm building ContextPulse.

I'm David Jerard. I started ContextPulse because every AI coding session began with the same five minutes of re-explaining the same context: what file I was in, what error I was looking at, what I said in a voice memo. The model never remembered. The context window got bigger but the gap stayed the same.

The fix wasn't another wrapper. It was a real memory layer that captures the things you naturally do (look, talk, type, click) and makes them queryable through the Model Context Protocol. Local first, because the things you look at and say belong to you. Open source, because trust matters more than control for infrastructure this close to your work.

Sensitive data gets redacted before it's written to disk. Voice transcription gets corrected by what you actually type, and the longer you use it, the more accurate it gets to you specifically. The whole thing runs in one daemon, on your machine, and exposes 35 tools to any MCP client that wants to ask.

If this resonates, install it. If you want it on every device, join the Cloud waitlist. If you have feedback, the issues page is open.
